The idea of a poseable dildo is one that I know many other sex bloggers like, in concept. However, I have not seen it done 100% right yet. When I saw that Betty’s Toy Box had one up for review, with the Real Supple Posable line by Evolved, I jumped on it. This one not only had a considerable amount of length to it. But it also wasn’t too girthy. So it certainly had my attention.

Real Supple Posable Dildo Stats

The first thing you notice about the Real Supple Poseable dildo is how pliable and super-soft it is. There is a ton of squish to what Evolved calls ‘memory silicone’. It bends easily and holds the shape around the arc of the shaft. The shape of the dildo is realistic, with a prominent head, vein textures, and balls. With a suction cup on the end allowing you to use this toy hands-free or it can sit easily in a harness as well.

So What Did I Think?

The first thing I noticed upon getting the Real Supple Poseable dildo out of its packaging, was that supple is a perfect name for it. The toy is much lighter than I expected. Holding it upright it already wants to naturally bend downward at the arch. Getting it to stick up straight was actually a rather hard feat. Unlike other poseable dildos, it does not feel like there is really a firm core to give it some backbone.

However, that suppleness has a downside. In that, it is almost too supple to use. My first time using it, I felt like I had a flopping fish between my legs. Every time I would try to thrust in, the arc tries to bend and push the toy out of me in other ways. So in my own hands, it was a flop. And if you have the toy standing up, it liked to move too easily to keep its stiffness when riding it either. Making it once more slip and slide out of my body unless I tried to follow the way it wanted to move. It is my hope that the smaller sizes are a little less unwieldy. But for me just getting it to be still made me want to toss this toy across the room.

Now, where it did shine was in a harness. Where I could keep both hands on the dildo at all times. Using them to not only guide but hold it in place. This allowed for much easier insertion and use! Though it keeps your hands very busy so you are not able to use them for anything else.

Overall Thoughts

The Real Supple Poseable in this size is, unwieldy and large. I feel like it could use some sort of stiffer core to keep it steady. It is my hope that the smaller sizes and girthy options do not suffer the fate the 10.5″ does. But if you are looking for a large life-like toy for harness play, this could very well be your jam!
