Trusty Thrusters Equinox – Review
At this point in my time reviewing, I have sampled quite a few fantasy toys: avian, werewolf, and tentacles. But I have never found one of an equine build that even looked for a second like I could wield it, let alone put inside me. Then Trusty Thrusters messaged me. And after seeing their Equinox, I knew I had to give it a shot.
Equinox Stats
The Equinox made by Trusty Thrusters is a fantasy equine shaped dildo. The design was 3D printed and poured with body safe silicone. It comes in a few standard colors like black, red, and blue, or metallic colors like gold, bronze, and silver. However, Trusty Thrusters does theme drops with not only different pour colors, but inclusions as well. So there is always the ability to get one that is truly unique.

So What Did I Think?

Right after getting my Equinox out of the package, I quickly fell in love with the way the colors had settled from the pour. The sparkle and the shades of purples, blues, and I believe a hint of pink looked like a galaxy in my hands. The details of the Equinox such as the head and veins stood out, but not dramatically so. And while you can get them in solid colors, going with this particular colorway was the right choice for me personally. It really upgraded it from a basic equine look to a more fantasy feeling.

Now when it came to actual use, the Equinox is nothing to sneeze at. Unless you are used to using thick toys, you will want to have a warm-up toy on hand. I made one attempt without one, just thinking a lot of lube would be the right answer. But I could only really work about an inch or so of the head inside before meeting a lot of resistance. With a warm-up toy however, the feeling of the whole toy sort of popping inside me was downright blissful. The only real texture that I felt was the flair of the head.
The only issue that I had was with the base. It is shaped as a rather sizeable set of balls, and is a little tough for smaller hands to hold. I had to handle it sideways just to get my hand around it in a way that was comfortable.
Overall Thoughts
I have to say that I am a big fan of the Equinox. Not just the shape and details, but the price point is also amazing for a fantasy toy. For the metallic set, the mini comes in at $40, the small at $60, and the medium at $75. Their simple matte versions start at $35 and go up to $75. The price for their specialty batch pours and inclusions will vary. But they really aren’t harsh on the wallet!
Thank you Trusty Thrusters for sending me the Equinox in exchange for this unbiased review. All writing and opinions are my own.
